Every rupee figure on this page is either a typical market range or a price that a film maker publishes, checked in October 2026. None of it is a SaiMetro quote. Film prices move with stock, exchange rates and new car models, so treat this page as a map, not a menu.
What decides the PPF price for your car?
Six things set most of the number. Know them and you can compare two quotes properly.

One thing that does not tell you the grade on its own is thickness. Garware’s April 2026 data sheets list its entry Protect, mid-range Premium and top Titanium films all at about 190 microns nominal, and Plus at about 160. The differences show up in each film’s formulation, its data-sheet performance figures and its warranty. Judge a film by its grade and warranty terms, not by a micron number in a WhatsApp message.

A few notes on reading it:
- Garware says prices vary with product availability and region. Its booking step shows the same figures as ”+ Taxes”, so read them as list prices before GST.
- Garware’s Matte+ and coloured films sit a step above Premium (₹95,000 for a Swift-size car, ₹1,23,000 for a Fortuner). Its standard Matte film is priced the same as Plus.
- Garware’s list prices look lower than at launch. In 2019, Autocar India reported Garware film at ₹675 per sq ft, about ₹1.35 lakh for an average car. Today’s 8-year Premium film on a Nexon is listed at ₹98,000.
What does front-only PPF cost?
Most stone chips land on the front third of the car, so a front kit is the common budget choice.

Neither XPEL nor 3M publishes a full-body price for a specific car, so those two rows are rough estimates from installer price guides. Real quotes can also land below list prices. On Team-BHP in 2024, one owner posted ₹87,200, tax included, for full-body Garware Premium on a VW Taigun, negotiated down from about ₹96,000.
Why do two quotes for the same car differ so much?
Two Pune studios can quote ₹40,000 apart for the same Creta and both be honest. Before you compare totals, line up these points:
- Same grade? “Garware” alone could mean the 3-year Protect or the lifetime Titanium.
- Same panels? One quote may include the roof, door cups and headlamps; the other may not.
- Edges wrapped or cut short? Wrapped edges take longer and hide the film line better.
- Correction included? On a car that has already seen roadside washes, correction is real work.
- Who pays labour on a claim? Garware’s Premium warranty is limited to replacing the film and excludes the labour to refit it.
- Before or after GST?
Is PPF worth it in Pune?
Spread over its warranty, Garware Premium on a Nexon (₹98,000 list price before GST, eight years) works out to about ₹12,250 a year. That is easy to justify if you run the Mumbai–Pune Expressway or long highway trips, own a dark or premium colour, or plan to keep the car beyond five years. If your car lives in the city and you’ll sell it in two or three years, a front kit plus a ceramic coating often makes more sense.
