Who is responsible for your data?
SaiMetro Car Accessories & Detailing, Mangalwar Peth, Pune (“we”). Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), we are the data fiduciary for personal data you share with us. We wrote this notice with the Act and the DPDP Rules, 2025 in mind.
What does this website collect?
Very little. There are no forms, logins or payments on this site. We may use a web analytics service, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Google Analytics, to count visits in aggregate: which pages are read, roughly which city visits come from, the type of device, and how often the WhatsApp, Call and Directions buttons are tapped. We use these totals to improve the site, not to identify you, and we don’t sell them or use them for advertising.
Does the site use cookies?
We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies; if we use Google Analytics, it sets its own first-party cookies to count repeat visits. Our studio map stays a static picture until you tap it; only then does Google Maps load. When you open Instagram, Google Maps or WhatsApp from a link here, you’re using that service, and its own privacy policy applies.
What happens when I message or call you?
We see what you choose to share: your name, phone number, messages, photos of your car, and car details such as the model and registration number. We use them to:
- reply, quote and book your job;
- do the work and keep a record of it;
- register a manufacturer’s warranty on film or a coating, which means giving the maker the details its warranty card asks for, such as your name, contact and car registration details;
- remind you about maintenance, if you ask us to.
WhatsApp is a Meta service with its own terms. We don’t sell your details or pass them to anyone for their marketing.
What if I appear in one of your reels?
We post finished cars and handovers on Instagram. If you appear in one, or your number plate can be read, and you’d like it removed, message us and we’ll take it down.
How long do you keep my data?
As long as we need it for your job and the warranty on it, and for the accounts and tax records the law requires us to keep. After that, we delete it.
What are my rights?
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete or erase it (unless the law requires us to keep it), withdraw consent you gave earlier, and nominate someone to act for you. Message us on WhatsApp or call the number shown on this site. If we don’t resolve your complaint, you can take it to the Data Protection Board of India.
If this notice changes, the “updated” date on this page changes with it.
